I agree. However, I am sure ESPN is going to get it on. And they are going to cover TX high school kids, guessing it is available more regionally than nationally. That would give UT an advantage.

What I don't understand about it is where the hell is the NCAA in all of this? I know they blocked it for this year, but should it really be a conference issue. Isn't it more of a FBS issue?

Someone needs to take charge over this whole debacle. Debacle being realignment and everything involved in that.

They blocked games. Not highlights.

Compromise or ditch the LHN. If they really want stability, they know that is what needs to happen. As long as the LHN is around in its current form it's going to make other schools nervous.

This whole thing has never been about money - it's about ego and power. Texa$ already has a $150 million athletic budget - something that no school in the conference can compete with. On top of that, they have a $1 billion (yes, with a b) endowment that can be tapped when needed. You would think that Texa$, with all their sources of funding, would see the writing on the wall, realize that they have no other option other than to go indy, and make the necessary concessions regarding the LHN. But again - it's not about money...

OU and UT have a big party in summer and pick out their top 25, so they have commitments while CPR si working commit #5 or #6. If LHN is on after that, they are already committed for the year.

LHN wouldn't limit itself to the games of senior recruits. If they are showing high school games you can bet your *** they'd be showing juniors, sophomores, and maybe even freshmen.

KS Board of Regents chair says Big 12 is best fit for #Kansas, #KState. Also says both have options (but would not discuss in detail)

Technically Iowa State has options as well... the Big East or the Mountain West. K-State can't be sitting any prettier than that, and if Kansas had a Big 10 or ACC invite they wouldn't be sitting around waiting on Mizzou to make a move first.

Mizzou and their fans are really starting to resemble "Old Yeller" now. They have become crazy over this SEC stuff. It's time to take them out back and shoot them.

Good lord, the Mountain West is not a viable option. At least we'd better hope not...

The Big East is sitting around waiting for the Big 12 invite after Texas and OU got shot down. Schools like Cincy and TCU are praying for a Mizzou to the SEC scenario.

If Texas and OU want to stay in the Big 12 (and where the **** else are they gonna go right now?), there will be no problem getting back to 12.

We all have options, some have better than others. I would expect that JP and the Kansans prefer spending the next century in a happy and prosperous Big XII. Our options are likely the same as theirs. We have to consider what-if options in case plan A doesn't happen this year or in six. Are the MWC or the BE as a safety net preferable than the risk of being on the outside as an independent? Are there other options?

Bizarre to me the Mizzou fans are really on the edge... What kind of fan are you if you're ready to jump off the cliff and stop following your team? I wouldn't call them "fans" at all...

Same kind that threatened to withhold support when Bruce VandeVelde canned Eustachy for being friendly and thirsty. Fans are fans are fans...everywhere.
