ESPN: Michelle Beadle vs Erin Andrews

*shrug*

Just because they are arguably the two highest profile women on the network everybody is surprised they're not bff's? If it was two dudes it wouldn't be a story.

If they fire her for watching that video they just as well keep going. There's no way less than half of the people for ESPN didn't watch that.

Oh, and I'll take Beadle.

Exactly, I bet half the people at that place don't really like each other.

They'd have to fire me like 42 times.

I would take Beadle as well...that book will be interesting though. Sounds like that place was crazy bordering on out-of-control at times. The book could be a hatchet job...but I am sure there will be some items in the book that will be spot-on about Bristol.

They both are average at best at their jobs yet make tons of money because we'll get all excited about a non-story like this.

Half? I would be suprised if there are more than 5 total ESPN employees who haven't seen it.

Erin Andrews is the much bigger presence and franchise. She's everywhere, during college football season especially. Michelle Beadle does one goofy show that gets old after about 10 minutes. Andrews is the Rose Bowl; Beadle is the Peoria Pop Warner championship game.

Doesn't she do a 2nd show on the weekends too? They also just gave her a podcast on espn.com. I think Andrews is the bigger franchise solely because ESPN was savvy enough to capitilize on her notoriety, not because of any real investment in her by the network.

I've seen Beadle do a weekend show with a different partner (former NFL player, don't remember who, he's terrible) but it's the same basic format. Elementary sports opinion question, "sports nation" votes on it, Michelle overreacts to results.

I thought espn also contemplated not renewing Andrew's contract last year because she was getting too expensive and they didn't think she would be good in an anchor role because she has very little personality on air.

I also like Beadle a lot more than Andrews

I went to that link and then read five different stories from other links about the upcoming book and some excerpts. Wow.....sounds like it was just a crazy, debauchery filled place back in the day. Also looks like Berman is a total pain in the *** (or at least used to be). Same thing with Olbermann.

She was going to be a "free agent" so they had to expand her role and gave her more money. If ESPN didn't give her a raise, somebody else was going to.

I also prefer Beadle over Andrews. Erin A is attractive but not as hot as some make her out to be. I think it's a popularity thing where guys think it's cool to drool over her.

I feel bad for Beadle in that she has to be on that dumb show with Cowherd (total tool). Andrews definitely has her beat on the totem pole at ESPN

I think when her contract ends that I don't think she will be able to pull that again. I think she was riding the wave of dancing with the stars and the video really overvalued her. I think espn could do better.
