It is an arrogance/ego issue with these two. Now they can both say they are nationally syndicated. They both feel they are bigger and better than just the Des Moines market.
Being nationally syndicated and streaming molasses, Jon and Deace may want to spread the Big ten talk to Lincoln so the Husker faithful can hear about IC. Wonder what Kevin Kugler thinks.
Well. I'm no Hawk or Wolverine fan but I will listen. I think they are entertaining when together and I love college football.

Miller has never stayed in one place very long. He is alwasy on the next better thing. Sounds like they are going national now.
Deace's plan with phases reminds me of the underpants gnomes from South Park.

Why mention Kevin Kugler? Just wondering, I worked with him when he had his first professional gig with the mighty Omaha Racers of the old CBA. Just wondering what Kevin Kugler could possible have in common with Miller and Deace?
Well Kugler does sports talk in Omaha and if Miller and Deace are hoping to get into that market with their talk
I do not know your aunt but if they do get on 100 radio stations and on satellite, to me that would make them national.
Tell me this: do you REALLY think that 100 stations and satellite have signed up to listen to these two guys talk Big 11 and the hoks? That might play in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, but where else? You you think that Detroit or Chicago sports radio stations are going to give these two guys the time of day? Having your podcast on itunes doesn't mean you're national.
I like listening to Miller and Deace together, but Miller is way too hok-centered to play nationally. His time on the BTN showed that that doesn't even play in other Big 11 territories.
The Big Ten network axed his show. He has zero personality, which is easier to hide on the radio than TV, and he's an unabashed Iowa homer/fan boy...which is unprofessional and I'm sure got old with network people who don't worship at the shrine of Kirk Ferentz
Here's how that hour will go: Miller blabbering about the Hawks and how great they are. Deace then talking about Michigan and both breaking down the Big Ten. They may mention ISU/Big 12 every once in a while
And to finish the show Miller will tell us what St Ferentz had to eat approximately 8-12 hours prior since his nose is buried so far up Kirky's fanny he'll have real time data to interpret.
