Wow this gets harder and harder as games go! I still support them but its soo hard to watch .I am sure its harder for them playing ,but ugh!

They called that little touch of the facemask by Benton on the previous play a 15 yarder? That's terrible.

They don't have the 5 yard minor facemask penalty anymore. Any facemask is now a 15 yarder.

Can you read? I didn't refer to Benton's play at all. Hell, I didn't even see it happen. I simply said that any facemask that is called is now 15 yards, and that the 5 yard penalty no longer exists.

You responded to my comment that the face mask penalty was called on Benton. The whole point of my comment was it shouldn't have been called because it wasn't a penalty under the new rule. I am aware that it is either 15 or nothing but it shouldn't have been called.

He did miss an open Franklin on 4th and 8 on a 5 yard out and he missed partially covered up Reynolds down the field 25ish yards.

I'll give complaining to that, but this isnt directed at you, but in my honest opinion, Tiller wouldnt have either. Capello, who knows, people say he has a good arm, but we have yet to see it in a D-1 game, and especially against oklahoma, i bet he wouldnt be able to either as a redshirt fresh.

What I don't understand is the gap between Iowa, Utah and OU and us. Other teams (even FCS teams) seem to do better than us. Sure, we knew that we had little chance of winning these games. I am just upset at how bad we look losing to them. Maybe we should just start the second string against any top 25 team so I don't have to feel like offing myself watching the game.

I thought (before last week's spectacle) that we would at least make a showing in these games. Sure, they were almost certain to overwhelm us talent-wise eventually, but I thought we could at least make games of these three in a row. This is sad.:sad:

Kind of pathetic seeing all the ISU fans gloating over Nebraska's close loss to Texas, right before we get totally blown away by Oklahoma. At least Nebby was able to keep their game close, unlike us.

Why is that pathetic? I think the thing you're missing is that Nebraska thinks they are better than the big 12, so everyone in the big 12 hates them.

We gave up 22 first downs in the first half, and we only trail in time of possession by 24 seconds. Not every defense is that efficient.

The offensive scheme is very vanilla, and to make matters worse, AA will through 10 yards over a wide open receiver. Something has to give. I hardly think putting in a different QB for a few snaps is going to be like "throwing him to the wolves". A lot of QB's get their chance in this situation.
