SCREW gold out why would you change from cardinal for a visiting team
i don't own a yellow shirt. Does that make me a bad fan? Because technically that would make me one of the "you can't tell me what to wear" fans. At least according to some it seems.
Half the teams in the country include red. Who cares. Its OUR stadium, and cardinal is OUR color. Does nebraska not wear red when we come to town?
How many fans wear cardinal every game? Less than half. They wear everything, including a lot of non-school colors. Tons of white and gray in the crowd every game.
it was cold saturday, but yet iowaa coordinated the sections to be black/gold/black/gold, which looked freaking sweet
if the athletic office says to wear gold, wear gold... if they say cardinal, wear cardinal... if they say just show up, then just show up... if someone wants to cordinate something for the fans, let them, they are being an active part of the atmosphere... it takes work to pull off great things, and it starts with the fans. so stop crying about stupid things. im guessing some of you just like to complain, and hate everything. or just like to take the opposite side of what ever is being discussed.
Really? How about the our athletic department getting off their duff and passing out pom-poms to us, like Iowa did? How about passing out t-shirts to us, like Penn State and so many others do? Funny how other schools "pull off great things" by the school itself taking the lead!
ISU fans, on the other hand, just get lectured to.
SO TIRED of this preaching to our great fans about what they should wear/not wear.
