I enjoyed it. It is an "old school" type movie...kind of a Hitchcock sort of movie. I won't make any comments and ruin it for you.

My girlfriend want to go see it, but it's not going to be airing anytime soon around here. Looks like it might be a good movie.

It isn't scary, just a bit of a mind-****. Of course, I didn't read the book, so I was going in expecting a much different movie. I enjoyed it, and it lends to interesting discussion afterward.

Is it pretty scary or is it more thriller?

I wouldnt say it was scary at all. Definitely a psychological thriller. With about 20 minutes left, I really didnt know who I was supposed to trust in the movie or who I wanted to trust. I liked that about it.

I thought it was terrible. The version directed by Johnny Orr in the 1980s was so much better. I was there, and I'm telling you, what Orr did with that movie was incredible - it was in sorry shape when he took over, but when he was finished, wow. Best movie ever. Today's version is pathetic.

I see what you did there

I loved it.

Not on the same level as other Scorsese classics....but minor Scorsese work is still better > 98% of other directors working today.

This is how I feel about the movie. Not the greatest movie I have ever seen...but I enjoyed it!

You have to be kidding me? Just watched it and the plot was easy to pick apart after the first 45 minutes or so. Unoriginal. I thought for sure when the truth was revealed near the end that another truth would come forth to save the day. Sadly, that wasn't the case.
