Personally, I'm just happy I don't have to go through another two weeks of the fair weather Vikings fans. Yes, they do have loyal fans, but the majority of that fanbase is a disgrace. They came out of the woodwork this year for the Favre aspect.

Not to continue the argument, but I found 2 post from Vikings Fans hoping the Cards beat the Packers. The rest were from Chiefs, Patriots, Titans and Bears fans. I see what you're saying though.

0-4 in Super Bowls. Second longest absence from the Super Bowl behind only the Detroit Lions. Yes, those Lions.

Now I have seen everything. Most Vikings fans I know are absolute diehards because we are going to get kicked in the gut. Heck, being an ISU fan is actually easier than being a Vikes fan.

No, it's Iowa, not Vikings fans. Iowa latches on to the next great thing. I'm surprised I didn't see more Jets jerseys this year than I did, Green, a kid who played one year at the U of I. Iowans have no pro team, it's easy for them to jump on the current bandwagon. Don't call out all vikings fans because Iowa is ****ed in the head when it comes to pro sports teams. I've been a Vikings fan since I started watching football, back in 1974, I've worn my hat during the les steckel years. Don't **** on the rest of the Vikings fans because of a few bad apples. I'm sick and tired of the Iowa "faithful" always jumping down the throats of true fans because they somehow feel their better by being able to root for the next hottest thing.I recall a lot of Members only Jackets in Iowa in the mid 80s as well. Its doesn't make you cooler just because you follow what's popular at the moment.

I'm dead serious. I can't tell you how many ppl I know that came out of the woodwork this year. Friends that I've known for years haven't said a word to me about football until they signed Favre and they went on this run.

I said they do have die hards, but it is well known and has been for years that the Vikings fanbase is fair weather.
