NFC Championship Game (Player Props)

Good for New Orleans... This game will go down on Favre blowing it, but he didn't fumble 5 times. Also, he wasn't the one that made 12 guys in the huddle. Or play conservative when getting into field goal range.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice if the last throw of Brett's career was a pick? Just like it was 2 years ago?

Brett Favre:

Last throw of 2007: INT in NFC Championship
2nd to last throw of 2008: INT
Last throw of 2009: INT in NFC Championship

Very nearly a nice little streak, if the Jets hadn't had the last few seconds in garbage time...

Unbelievable that a veteran like Favre can make a mistake like he did with calling a second consecutive timeout. It forced them into an awkward passing play that potentially lost the game. If the Vikings were my team, I'd be ******* furious.

When did he do that???? At the end there was 12 guys in the huddle??

That is a sad bitter statement....I feel sorry for you.

As a Vikings fan I'd like to say the Vikings are the biggest disgrace of an NFL franchise. They'll never make it to the Super Bowl in my lifetime. I guess this is what happens when you deal with the devil by signing Brett Favre.

Favre DID blow it. His team was set up for the win, even after all the TO's, and he choked.

Now please go away Favre.

This is going to be nuts. If the Saints win the Super Bowl, this town is going to take a 10 day vacation. Super Bowl on Feb 7, Fat Tuesday on Feb. 16... I can't wait...

Re: how the vikes fracked this up ill never understand...

Give the Saints some credit, they identified the Vikings' weaknesses (Fumbles McPeterson) and really if the Saints hadn't prolonged a few of the Vikings' scoring drives with dumb penalties it might not have even gone to OT. I'm not a fan one way or the other but usually you have to do two things to win a football game. 1) Not turn the ball over. 2) Avoid penalties. Each team did one of those things, the Saints just did the more important one.

I think that is the whole thing. I have to give Favre props for the great year and playing tough in this game, but this was Sage's year and instead he gets to play behind Favre and TJ (for some odd reason). Yes, I am beating a dead horse.

My condolences Viking fans, I know what is like to be close and not get it, heck, we all do, we are Cyclone fans.

I can only imagine what that town is going to be like tomorrow. No one is going to to go work, I'll put money on that.

It's true. My boss was predicting that if we won, only half of the firm was going to show up tomorrow. If I didn't have so much **** to do, I'd go on a bender myself...

The Vikes would've won if Favre hadn't made that boneheaded pass in regulation.

That said, I'm glad to see the Saints in the Super Bowl. Really good for the city's morale
