Why are you here? Seriously, though. This is CYCLONEFANATIC.com. Most of you guys come here to do nothing more than to stir the **** and try and defend the precious eiu. A very select few of you are level headed and I'm sure most CYCLONE fans don't mind having you here. That's fine, but the other 98% of you crap on every thread. No one here cares what's going on with the hawks. So, brush that chip off of your shoulder and get this hawkeye agenda crap out of here. I don't want to read it anymore, nor does any other CYCLONE fan.

They are here because even they know how horrible the people on the Haaaawwkk boards are. Would you want to surround yourself with a bunch of jerks?

Ok...take away the in-state rivals board, where do you put all the Hawkeye discussion?
 
If none of use care about that Hawks then why to we have some many people on their boards that post here? Why do we have so many ISU fans that check the news for anything negative about the hawks and are eager to start a new thread? Why do we always refer to them as EIU?

I'm not saying I don't agree that I wish this was all cyclone fans. But it is very clear to me that MANY of the ISU fans on here are only here to bash and talk crap about the hawks.... thus they care about UofI. Therefor sadly many of the ISU fans here do want to read it.... just saying...

Hopefully that problem will just fix itself. Kinda like hoping the police quit picking on UI football players. If you wait long enough, hire a life coach to impress the press, and hope for 2 years without a police blotter littered with UI athletes, then you can consider the problem fixed.

Or just win. It doesn't fix the problem, but it masks it well. :wink:
 
In all fairness, it appears most Hawkeye related threads here are started by non-Hawkeye fans.
 
I don't blame the hawks for wanting to be on this board. It's the best sports board in the state. Especially the off-topic boards. The other web sites have very little activity compared to this one.

It's just like me turning to 1040 WHO when I want to hear local news. I know they are the home of the Hawkeyes.
 
but in even more fairness, non-Hawkeye related threads are often spun into Hawkeye related threads by our fellow Sky-Carpers to the east.

You know...if ISU did start winning, and beating the Hawks every year, the number of Hawk fans here would drop big time.

The point of this thread is that the many hawk fans here find a way to crap on nearly every thread CYCLONE related. It's annoying as all hell.

That's usually because a Clone fan brings up the Hawks in a Cyclone thread.
