Shouldn’t be. Would definitely be a meltdown if he chose to go to a Big 12 school not called Iowa State.

Milan would fit well at Arizona. They have lots of players who are really physical and it would open us lanes and shots for him.
The 'I hope he stays out of the Big 12' thing imo doesn't have as much clout with the mega conferences.

No ill will toward Milan here, it was always going to be a tough spot for him and the staff once he chose to pursue this process. I'm surprised that some NBA team didn't give him enough assurances to stay in, but then, the NBA never made much sense to me anyway.
I just hope he goes outside the Big 12, I don't want to root against him.

I think the rational piece of this is that it means there’s a chance he plays against us in another uniform.
If he’s in Ames in a wildcats jersey people will boo him, and yeah that’s their right as fans. But if he’s goes outside the XII there’s a chance both sides “go their separate ways” and whatever respect was there maybe stays intact? Idk. This whole thing stinks.
