I'm with you 120%!I'm a little more confident than that, I think it's like 60/60.
People say that, but if hindsight was really 20/20 I wouldn’t get 2:00 AM texts from exes.Hindsight is only 20/20 though.
Beer goggles ruin a lot of 20/20 visionsPeople say that, but if hindsight was really 20/20 I wouldn’t get 2:00 AM texts from exes.
Adrenaline and a shot of the good stuff from the vet school
Lots of people in here sleeping on Alabama. They looked damn good last night.
TT just wasn't nearly as good defensively this year, and it seems like their defense fell off when they weren't shooting well.I somewhat agree. However, Texas Tech was so all over the place this last 10 or so game since the big man got hurt. Not sure if it was a product of Bama being really good or Tech just slumping and having another bad night
Agree. And they ultimately want to do what is in JJ's best interest, which includes his future health. An MRI will allow them to get more information which will help with their rehab direction and timeline. The MRI should tell them if they can let him push through it or not. He will obviously want to play if it's just a matter of pain management, but have to make sure that there isn't structural damage.
Actually, the Tech minus Toppin and ISU minus JJeff are not that different and a good comp.TT just wasn't nearly as good defensively this year, and it seems like their defense fell off when they weren't shooting well.
ORIf he can't go against Tennessee not likely he will be good to go in two days for Michigan.
Wearing a boot is very common with this type of injury, the scooter could be because he feels more comfortable getting around that way then walking on crutches. Or you could be correct and it could be a lot more serious than what we have been told, and the staff knows he is done for the year but does not want that info, out to force teams to prepare for him playing and then not playing. The boot and scooter makes me wonder if the coaching team is listing JJ as questionable to force the opposition to practice against that contingency. It doesn't look like a simple ankle injury. I suspect he is out for the season.
Either way I can't see a world where he's anywhere near 100% regardless of that two extra days rest. Tweaking it is guaranteed. I've had multiple severe ankle sprains. They hurt for a year.OR
He could go against Tenn but doesn't to make sure he can go against Meeeshigan? I think tweaking it is a real risk.
Put another way - maybe he goes into Tenn at 70% but by not playing he goes into Meeshigan at 75-80%
I am just stalling from working on a spreadsheet.
Nah you’re almost always immobilizing the sprain while trying to control the inflammation. People his height also tend to prefer scooters and crutches have a higher fall rate. The boot and scooter makes me wonder if the coaching team is listing JJ as questionable to force the opposition to practice against that contingency. It doesn't look like a simple ankle injury. I suspect he is out for the season.
Your point is moot. He’s not playing hobbled. If it's Alabama instead of Michigan, a hobbled Jefferson might hurt us more than help us. We did well in Vegas this year. Maybe we keep pushing that luck and rolling the dice. Break glass in case of emergency type thing.
