Crap, I already did this when he cursed at the HoksHopefully people learn that lesson and don’t automatically place CJR on some pedestal like he’s a god who can do no wrong.

I don't expect us to put anyone on a pedestal now. Campbell finally made us real winners. It's understandable why the fans grew so fond. The way he left will always taint his legacy for me though. The rumors of assistant coaches not being happy with how he handled it as well tells us a bit too.
Ya maybe but we were told he was a hard convince to come to Ames and said he didn't want to move again after he did leave Ohio. I think Rasheed is a bigger indicator as he basically just decided to pursue other options. No inside info just reading the tea leaves.I think it says something that Heacock is still around. If I were Rogers, I’d offer him an analyst position.
Do you have a link to this article? SIAPJust read an article about Campbell helping Roger decide who to keep on the team from the guys that were not transferring. I thought it was interesting and it makes me feel a little better about what happened. Clearly Rogers let a few guys that Campbell didn't think were worth holding on to.

Yes!!! I heard he even took the playbooks and half time snacks to Penn State. So Campbell still tried to control the program even thought he left for Penn State?
