His contract says the buyout has to be paid over 2 years. He (or his agent) really, REALLY has them over a barrel.i would assume the only incentive/leverage is to give the negotiated amount to him now in a lump payment or he receives the full buyout annually in installments over the length of contract.
What an absolute fleecing. I applaud Tang and his agent. His contract says the buyout has to be paid over 2 years. He (or his agent) really, REALLY has them over a barrel.
Dude feels the earth shifting under his feet and is grabbing for something - anything - that might save him. But like a desparate man he finds himself in a hole but just keeps digging. How does Tang go from the interview after the Iowa State game to the interview after the Cincinnati game? They seem to be completely opposite messages

I think you are giving him too much credit. He still thinks he is smarter than everyone else and with another year he can buy the right players and YOU'LL ALL BE SORRY! God would never let him fail.I don't think he wants saved at this point. I think he's trying to get fired so he can ride off into the sunset with the Brinks truck in tow.
I enjoyed Brian Ferentz at EIU.I'm trying to think as a sports fan if I've ever taken more enjoyment in watching another program totally implode and I'm just not sure I ever have...

Yeah, he is captivated by bright shiny objects, but the bright shiny object sits on a pile of ****.Except he's proven that he's only capable of over-spending on ONE player, not a team full of the right players.
he is a schizo. he is different people at different times. How does Tang go from the interview after the Iowa State game to the interview after the Cincinnati game? They seem to be completely opposite messages
Morning classes for the players...
His agent did dirty work here for sure. What an absolute fleecing. I applaud Tang and his agent.
I'd pay $50K to plant a dead hooker in his closet. Fire him for cause and keep the $18M.
Dirty Work is criminally underrated
