I was thinking about it - I remembered that the band used to be in the south endzone on bleachers (pre SEZ). It MIGHT have been students; the bags were east side, south end, about halfway up the lower deck. The band was around the corner in the endzone on bleachers. Was that students?
Love it in principal, but not sure I want an already popular, and potentially talented, Collin Klein recieving increased NIL monies to boost a not quite that ill football program.
He completely lost the locker room. I seriously wonder if they might have some guys that decide to shut it out and enter the transfer portal. Nobody wants to play for a coach that throws you under the bus and takes no accountability.
I bet they do something like that. They spent quite a bit on NIL basketball. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut that in half and give it to football.
This sounds crazy but the world we live in it's probably not far from the most financially viable solution to just drop a non football program for a couple years to keep from stealing money from FB. (I know it isn't there so don't reply with your financial analysis proving me wrong - it's just way closer than it should be)
it is purely performative. Tang is trying to shift blame from himself to his players, so they need to be punished. His players are at fault not the coaches. I'm shocked he didn't add that they were going to run suicides for the whole practice as well.
