Le Gant if you want full FrenchLe Glove
Right now, he's shooting 39% from three. Obviously that's a small sample, and I'd bet that he'll settle below that as he gets more volume. But I'm pretty sure he's adequate enough that he won't scare NBA teams off. They'll especially want him to grow as a shooter off the dribble and other shots where he doesn't have a lot of time, but he's starting off from a better spot than I expected coming into the year.I love Toure like everyone here, but doesn't have a good enough jumpshot for the NBA yet, but the defense/mental is already way ahead of schedule. I just hope someone doesn't try to talk him into doing something before it's unanimous (from the people that matter) that he's NBA ready.
He can make very nice money at ISU, be a legend, enjoy being young, and still leave early after Junior year if needed. He should enjoy his time under Otzelberger, not try to get away from it asap.
Said it before, I'll say it again. I noticed that too. But I also commented to my wife to watch how Toure is able to squeeze through gaps to get over screens while staying in front of Stirtz. He really has a knack and gets after it.Pretty good example of how not to use your screener by Stirtz, too. He made it way to easy for Toure to go over the top by leaving 4 feet of space between himself and the screener. You can't do that with Toure's lateral quickness. What's the point of setting the screen if you're not trying to rub your guy off on it.
Our main account just replied to Hassel lol.
I watch a ton of NBA and would generally agree with this. I'm sure some forward thinking front office would be more than happy to stash him as a developmental flyer this go around, but for his own sake, a sophomore season getting a bigger offensive load to show how you can handle being a lead initiator and ironing out some shot mechanics would be big to get himself into lottery range, bigger investment, etc.To an extent, but 6’4” guys that gets tough. They tend to be really skilled offensively or an Edgecomb- level athlete.
My guess is he comes back one year as the lead PG and high usage offensive player and move into a big dollar slot.

I missed the part about merchandising/licensing, even then that's a tiny piece compared to what other guys get from Rev share. I dont think anyone in France or the Ivory Coast is going to shell out money for a guard at Iowa State.Just because you say it doesn't make it true. You're better off saying "foreign players can be paid, but they are more restricted on how compared to U.S. players"
Zach Edey absolutely made money while at Purdue (Canadian.)

Solid first post.I love toure I goon to him on the daily
Solid first post.
No. And ofc they aren't making as much as Jefferson, Lipsey, Momcilovic, but all I can say to it is that Toure & Pleta are paid to come here/play here. Idk what loophole or channel is used exactly (Toure did play his senior year in America at Brewster Academy fwiw) and idk if or when the rules will change on it, but they are both making 6 figures.I missed the part about merchandising/licensing, even then that's a tiny piece compared to what other guys get from Rev share.
