Can we politely name the student section Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Line the section with pictures of Mr. Roger's double bird. Students need signs that read "Beat the ******* (insert mascot name here)."

1) Jimmy is the football coach so that would be off with basketball
2) HELL no. Cyclone alley is the right name period.
Hate this and all references to Mr. Rogers. He’s a Football coach. He’s not putting on his indoor shoes and a sweater.
This seems kinda dumb. Odds are low that he'll be here in a decade. You don't name something after a coach until they're truly institutional.
It's ok if some students do it like the students that dressed like the presidents. However, to give it an official name other than like "Tornado Alley for the football team and Cyclone Alley for the basketball team" is kind of weird. So if you want to dress like Fred Rogers with a few friends and hold up a sign, I am down with that but it would be corny to officially name the whole student section that

I'm not a fan of the Gophers putting oars on their uniforms and helmets to satisfy Fleck's ego. I'm also not a fan of naming the student section after a new, untested coach. It's bigger than the coach.
I fully expect a lot of cardigans in JTS next fall. ISU bookstore/Cy's lockerroom should get ahead of it and sell something just like this photo.
I don't think you can copyright titles, for the most part. Just think of all the books, movies and songs that have the same and/or similar titles.
But yes, names can be trademarked, and...
Imagining Mr. Rogers yelling "**** the Hawks" to a stadium crowd amuses me.
