Can the university sue the players for damages?
Rogers is 100% gone if he does well and is offered by another team. He's bounced around a lot.
I don’t necessarily disagree but if so, what is point? Go thru the motions of competing “at the highest level”?As will 98% of coaches. We are always going to be a stepping stone program for good coaches.

Good point. This will not help NIL donations, or opportunities.
That’s what we’ve been doing for 100 years now.I don’t necessarily disagree but if so, what is point? Go thru the motions of competing “at the highest level”?
These are 18 to 21 year olds. C'mon.Don’t the players sign contracts now? Doesn’t NIL obligate them to play?
the players are being paid by the fans - paid more to play a stupid game than many of us make in a year, even multiple years. Whether they like it or not, they are paid to play a game that exists to entertain fans. This is ********. They should be contractually obligated to play
His father in law was the HC at South Dakota State for 25 years, fwiw. What does that mean? He’s 38!!! He was a player, then coach at SDSU (there from 2006 until 2024 except 1 year at FIU) then one year at Wazzou.
That’s very much not a lot of bouncing around. I could see an argument that he hasn’t spent enough time in FBS, but not that he’s bounced around
FFS. Are they paid adults or not? Don’t pretend these are childrenThese are 18 to 21 year olds. C'mon.

lol, that means he’s the guy that had the balls to date/marry the coach’s daughterHis father in law was the HC at South Dakota State for 25 years, fwiw.
I do think NIL needs actual contracts that bind the athlete and not just the university to pay them. Make it more like an NFL contract.Take back some of their NIL money then. Poor babies, I dont want to go to work tomorrow anymore either but will still show up.
Last I checked, you are an adult at 18. You can be drafted, you can go to war, you can die for your country, you are an adult. These are 18 to 21 year olds. C'mon.
Yep. Married to Stig's middle daughter.Stiegelmeier is his FIL too? Had no idea.
Nah, I'm gonna blame those responsible and accountable, e.g., Pollard. Thanks!Quit blaming this on Jamie. JHC, what's he supposed to do at this point? Blame Campbell. Blame the coaches or Blame the players for deciding as a group not to play. But don't Pollard.
