I heard years ago from October to March we get 20-30 of these. But some are not as strong as others. Some have minimal effect on the weather. Can someone here elaborate for me?That's what Alberta Clippers do, the Iowa Storm Chasing Network Facebook page is already talking about another clipper like system for Thursday.
15 days... and then winter starts.Average snowfall is 36 inches for the winter. Most places are already at half that in central Iowa and we’re only a week into December. It’s still fall yet.
Going to be a LONG winter I suspect. Hell when I watched some videos of what they were predicting for Winter they seemed to think January & February would be the worst of it. At least snow wise.Average snowfall is 36 inches for the winter. Most places are already at half that in central Iowa and we’re only a week into December. It’s still fall yet.
