ISU Bowl Projection

Unless BYU beats Tech, they are going to get left out most likely so does everyone push down a notch?

When does this get locked in? Does it wait until after the Big 12 championship is resolved?

Sunday December 7th after the CFB playoff teams are announced. Brett McMurphy and some others on X/Twitter have the bowl selections well before ESPN announces them.

I think that was 2010. (But you are correct, those mizzouians have it somewhere :))
It was 2011. I was at the 2010 game in Ames. It was the season finale and we lost 14-0 with Jerome Tiller at QB because Arnaud got hurt the week before at Colorado. In 2011 we gave up 50+ and lost in Columbia.

They dont have to take the next in line. Also, with the PAC stuff, it gets confusing.

The big question now is if the Alamo wants Holy War II.

If you figure Oregon is in the CFP, then Utah will be the highest-ranked "Pac-12" team available.

On the other side, if BYU doesn't get into the CFP, then they'll be the highest-ranked "Big 12" team available.

Everyone go get cancelable (that's a word, right?) plane tickets and hotel reservations in Houston & Phoenix...

...I'd be shocked and utterly disappointed if it ended up being Liberty Bowl/Memphis again.

So if BYU gets into CFP, who is next up for the Alamo? Houston?
