YouTube TV Getting Ability to Split Into 4 Screens

Be interesting to see how we’re getting screwed and by who.

“We’ll pay your outrageous price but you have to throw in something.”

Great for YTTV subscribers and great for ESPN to increase viewership on their ESPN+ games.

I’m sure we’ll pay for it soon.

So are ESPNU and CBSSN added in YTTV now? I can't keep track.

Maybe get it at some point if ISU has a chance to be on ESPNU here and there.

Or I'll just not watch and check the score out.

I just tried to cancel espn unlimited at the end of the month and already got offered $25 a month (instead of 40) for the next 3 months. I guess I'll stay a little longer

So Direct Tv streaming comes with espn unlimited. Does this include espn plus?

I'm set for everything but the 3 January games on Peacock now.
I'll be poking around for some kind of free trial for that month and see what happens.

At least Peacock's only $15 or whatever so if you can time it out right you can only subscribe for a month and get all three.

I certainly used to spend more per game when I'd have to go to a bar to watch back 10-15 years ago.

This is suppose to be coming to YTTV on Monday:

Events and programming on the new NBC Sports Network:

  • Monday Night NBA games and NBA Playoffs
  • Expected to include dozens of MLB regular-season and select post-season games in a soon-to-be-announced agreement
  • Premier League soccer matches
  • Gold Zone hosted by Scott Hanson (daily whip-around coverage for Milan Cortina Olympic Winter Games in February 2026)
  • WNBA Regular Season and Playoff games
  • Big Ten and Notre Dame Football
  • Big Ten, Big East and Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball
  • Golf Majors (includes select coverage of U.S. Open and The Open Championship)
  • Cycling (Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes; Vuelta a España, and more)
  • Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks undercard races
  • Olympic Sports (e.g., Figure Skating, Ski & Snowboard, Gymnastics, Swimming, Track & Field)
  • Popular shows, including PFT Live, The Dan Patrick Show, The Dan Le Batard Show, and Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry

Are they moving all of the sports they broadcast on NBC to this network? That's really going to suck for me if I lose the OTA stuff they broadcast.

Peacock usually has a Black Friday deal. I’m sure it’ll be posted here if they do that again. I think it was $30 for the year or something like that in the past.

I think ESPNU and CBSSN have been on YTTV for quite a while. I know they’re all on my list (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN News, SEC Network, ACC Network, FS1, FS2, CBSSN, NFL Network, NBA Network … I know those are all there)

Thanks...ESPNU wasn't available last week so was wondering if it's back up.

Hopefully by tomorrow the Disney/ESPN networks will be back in the "Build Your Multiview" function.

So early on their were rumors that Disney was holding out because YTTV was planning to launch a sports only option for about half the price of their current price point. This would have been a huge threat to Disney's standalone EDPN Ultimate service as well as their Hulu Live and Fubo services. Perhaps the inclusion of Ultimate on YTTV isn't a case of Disney jamming in more services and forcing a bigger YTTV price hike. Perhaps it was actually a peace offering from Disney. We will cut you in on Ultimate if you agree to drop the idea of the sports only subscription option.

Well, so much for my theory, looks like the sports only YTTV option is alive and kicking as part of the deal.
