Which is where they could get in trouble with the courts. If they only offer ESPN as a bundle with Disney to YTTV and offer ESPN as a standalone service direct to consumers, that could very well be seen as an anti-competitive act. Without knowledge of what YTTV is actually asking for, I hope this is the crux of their argument in these negotiations.
If YTTV were to offer an ESPN, Fox, TNT package, I’d be all over it. Essentially give us the package that those companies tried to do with their Venu service, but with a good interface. I’d certainly pay $10 / month to keep the YTTV interface rather than doing the individual apps.
