**** Texas Tech lmao

Online Kansas State fans are a special breed of idiot. They are H*wkeye-like is that they basically think they're Penn State except Penn State's actually won championships.

As much as I hate TT, I don't see why the tortilla throwing is a big deal.
You cant make a rule about throwing things, then just let one school throw something. Regardless of what it is, you have to treat everyone and everything the same.

And while I agree to a point, I dont see that throwing tortillas is that big of a tradition either, its only been around for 20 years or so, that is not that big of a "tradition" and in reality any so called tradition that has you throwing food like a toddler is pretty stupid.

Also, I know it is unlikely, but as I said above, say a player trying to make a cut or move steps on one, and slips because of the tortilla under his cut foot. Not only is that an issue with it interfering with the play, but the player could tear up a knee or something. Similarly someone going up or down the steps in the stadium could also slip on one and fall. Especially in wet weather. Not exactly likely but also not exactly zero chance.

TT fans need to grow up and stop it. I learned to stop throwing my food when I was a toddler.

If taco John’s would throw burritos, I might try to grab one. Forget it if it’’s Taco Bell.

I said it in another thread, I think as long as it is controlled (before the game, after 1st score, between quarters, only student section, only can throw at the end zone, etc) then I think it is fantastic. It's like Detroit's octopus or Florida's rats.

But you can't have it during the game, and hitting the other team, etc. I don't think its a real fine line either.

This seems like an overreaction from Tech. Surely they could figure out a way to have the tortilla toss before the same or something.

I'm here for fun things.

The tortillas are fun. The cowbells at Mississippi State are fun. The red balloons at Nebraska are an amazing self own so that's fun.

Let people have fun.

I don't care much about any of this, but the balloons were shown to have negative impacts on wildlife and at the least end up as trash somewhere else, so I'd treat that one differently .

If tech gets to throw tortillas I should get to throw full beer cans.

So, who's going to the next TT away game with a package or Tortillas in their pockets. :p

This was actually brought up during the ASU vs. TTU game by the broadcast crew.

Not to mention that helium is a finite resource and we are starting to have production shortages. When helium is released into the atmosphere it is so light that it ends up lost into space. We have a million better uses for our unrenewable stock than bad football.
