When Jackson was locked in he was so hard to deal with. Basically 7 foot tall and 285 pounds. A motivated Jackson was an absolute bull on the court.

I think we need Milan to be a lot more than a spot-up shooter this year. He's probably our most talented player on offense, but too many times in the past two years he's had games where that's basically all he does on offense.
Don’t disagree with that, he will be the guy for end of shot clock scenarios or to get a bucket 1 on 1 ideally
Batemon and Nelson off the bench is great for 2nd line scoring
I loved having Jackson last year. It was nice to have a big man that could shoot free throws decently well. Would've loved to have him back.
I think JJeff will be who they run offense through late in the game. Although, depending on matchups, it could very well be Milan. Good problem to have!
If TJ doesn't go small to close out games - and he is saying that JJeff will play exclusively at the 4 - then I wouldn't be surprised to see Pleta in late. He is the better FT shooter (70s) then either of our other bigs (50s). Still hoping that those guys can at least get up in the 60s this season to keep defenses honest. Too easy to just hack a guy who struggles to hit half of his shots from the line - especially when ISU is in the 1 and 1.
I want to resist paying blue jays for a game but doubt I'll be able to resist seeing the new squad in pre-season action.
When I go to this link and click on the Creighton vs Iowa State game to sign up, nothing happens.
Anyone in the western part of the state should be able to watch it on Nebraska public TV. Channels 12 and 26 in west/SW Iowa. Not sure about Sioux City area.
Not sure about streaming options though. I think you can stream for free but not sure if that is based on location or if they will block streaming for sporting events.

Batemon would have to fantastic to start over Heise as a freshman vs 5th year senior in the very first exhibition game (on the road, no less). I could see either in the Curtis Jones role off the bench though.
Whenever my kids open the PBS Kids app it shows "Nebraska Public Media" so, fingers crossed some bad geolocation will let me watch it from Ankeny for free
I signed up with Sidearm Sports first but uncertain if that was a necessary step. It took several tries and a bunch of error messages (I think antivirus was blocking connection - not tech savvy) - but finally got thru and received an email confirmation. Unfortunately, no link to the game or a customer service# if you need help connecting tomorrow night. Fingers crossed.
Click the person icon in the top right, then Sign Up and then it should show Creighton vs Iowa State and the option to Purchase Now. The website seems janky so sometimes it shows up below the Colorado State game and sometimes it doesn't show up at all. Not sure if it's just a me issue but I contacted their support to make them aware.
