The same guy that said he couldn’t control his breathing or anxiety in like his 60th career game? Yeah I’m not worried about him. He doesn’t have that dawg in him.I low key hate that Gronowski played like butt yesterday. He's going to want to atone for that and set the world on fire and he knows there's no better time than against a rival on national TV.
That said, I think we are a far superior team this year and we are due to win at the Jack by about 17.
Yes, you're are the problem. Now what's this about thinking ISU will win?Wait…if we think ISU will win this weekend, we are the problem? This cannot be serious…
Yeah, if he's going to get back in the Heisman race, for sure.I low key hate that Gronowski played like butt yesterday. He's going to want to atone for that and set the world on fire and he knows there's no better time than against a rival on national TV.

I think all your comments are fair and valid, but I'll debate your point about QB sacks. Which do you want, we get more pressure on the QB or we flood the passing lanes with 8 defenders? Because you can't have both now that Will McDonald is in the NFL.I think we’ll win, but I’m going to pee in our Cheerios a little bit.
Do we know if we’ve beaten anybody who’s any good yet? We think K-State’s performance against North Dakota was just a letdown after losing to us in Ireland, but what if they’re a 6-6 kind of team? We think South Dakota is one of the best teams in FCS, but what if, after all their losses to the portal, they aren’t even a playoff team?
This was the second game in a row where the pass defense didn’t look great. Things tightened up after the game got out of hand, but for a while there in the first half it felt like South Dakota was moving the ball at will through the air. We still don’t have any sacks. With Iowa’s struggles passing the ball, you’d like to think we could commit to stopping the run and make whoever their QB is try to beat us through the air, but I’d feel a whole lot more comfortable if we were getting to the QB. If it’s a low scoring game, a big play or two could be the difference.
I still have some concerns about our offense. Carson Hansen had 9 rushes for 19 yards against a rebuilt FCS defense. Dylan Lee looked good but it was all in garbage time. Our TE’s have been excellent, but we still need more production from our WRs at some point.
Again, I like ISU to beat Iowa, but I’m expecting it to be a nail biter.
I admire your optimism but I haven’t reached that point. Hanson is our pounder and he was just ok against SD. Giving Rocco time in the pocket & then his improvisation if flushed will be important. We are gonna piss pound Iowa this year. Book it.

Maybe it's just the Cyclone PTSD I have but I remember an ISU team losing to Kent State and UNI at home and then beating Iowa the next week. I'd be leery about judging too much about the way a team plays the previous week(s) in this rivalry game.Iowa was shockingly bad yesterday. Even on defense they weren't impressive. This one is going to get ugly quickly.
Better than!
# This angle is crazy video
But this game, as far as what we want to accomplish this year, is probably one of the three least important games.
