Dog Toys

Anybody have recommendations for toys that will actually last for a dog that seems to destroy everything?

The only thing we've had hold up so far are the core rubber Kong toys. The latest victims claimed were ones made out of "ballistic" fabric and another made from "Duraforce" material. Ropes will get shredded completely over a couple weeks. We haven't had a toy made of fabric that lasted more than a few days.

Edit: He's around the 100 lb mark and everything we've bought like the ropes have been the biggest toy of it's size.

2/1 ESPN Bracketology

Latest bracketology has ISU in Salt lake city as a 5 seed in the south region. A somewhat nice draw playing houston in 2nd rd and then virginia is the #1 seed in that region. Question is would you take that seed and draw and be in the south region which means no KC for regional site or would you rather be in the Midwest region and play in KC and have a harder draw?

Super Bowl is a major tradition in our pop/sports culture. It has positives and memorable moments. But what do you dislike most about the spectacle?

List your top 5 dislikes, ranked or unranked. It can encompass the game itself, media coverage, telecast format … anything connected to the event. Elaborate as you wish.

Use Roman numerals when possible!

I’ll post my list in a while. (I have to visit the damned grocery store first.)

INFINITI Coach's Time Out for the Win Competition

As of today, Huggy, who motivates his team by telling them they suck, sits in 1st place among 48 coaches. CSP is a close second. With the size of our dedicated fan base, it should be an easy task to move our coach into first place.
Takes about 3 seconds to post your vote for CSP each day until March 11.

http://www.infinititimeout.com/index

Click on the COACHES link and vote for CSP

"From January 14th until the end of the program, fans should vote for their favorite participating coach. You can vote here 1x per day or vote via social media. For social media voting, post yourself taking a timeout and include #TIMEOUTFTW and the coach you want to vote for (i.e #CoachFirstNameLastName). Find your coach-specific hashtag here. #CoachSteveProhm
At the end of the program, the top three coaches will each receive a combined $600k donated by INFINITI in their names to the American Cancer Society."

Yes, a day late, but here are my observations from last night's game. Definitely my kind of game withn Iowa State dominating and zero need for a defibrillator or nut cup. Here are a few options that did not make the cut:

-Is that the fat lady singing? Never mind. Just Huggins yelling at his players.
-Wesley Harris with the punk b*tch move on NWB. Hogue would have kicked him on his chest for that.
-Shayok smooth as butter last night. Was scoring from everywhere.
-Wigginton channeling his inner Monstar last night. Not even all the Looney Toons combined with MJ could have stopped him.
-The whole Canadian narrative is dangerously close to becoming the next "he played with Nerlens Noel in HS"
-The nightmare that keeps playing in my head: Iowa State Ball at the national championship game, down by 1 point to Duke with 3 seconds left - 5-second violation inbounding the ball.
-It seems that any time I look at a box score, Shayok has another 20-pt + game. Didn't even notice he scored that much.
-Now THAT is the type of free throw performance I've been waiting for.
-Jacobson with the angry outlet and angry 3-pt shot. Dude's got some fire!
-Talley with the correct way to execute an exclamation point dunk. Wesley Harris - take note.
-Cam Lard with the sweet pocket pass to a cutting Wigginton.
-West Virginia should have football team linemen as assistant basketball coaches so that they can hold Huggins back. I had a feeling he could have easily ran over his assistants if he wanted.

Please feel free to share some of your own observations!

B12 tournament tickets

Hey all,
First post and new member here. I went to the B12 tournament last year and plan to go for a couple days again this year. Prob like the Thurs - Friday night games. Anywho....Last year I just found some tickets off Stub Hub or some secondary market. My question is do any of you just go and buy tickets off the street before the games? Seemed like last year I talked to a Cyclone fan that has had some success doing that. Just wondering your opinions on that and success stories. Thanks all.

Merle Hay Old Chicago Closing

Just got an email today that the OC location is permanently closing this Saturday. Wow, Merle Hay Mall has to be hurting with Younkers and Sears gone now, they lost Staples there a couple years ago. To close down the only OC location in Des Moines it must really have been tanking. I see there is a mention of this in the DM register a week ago but of course my free articles are up for the month so can't read it.
