Baseball Tickets

Just received 3 tickets each for Astros at Diamondbacks at the end of April and Cubs at Diamondbacks for May day. First game could be interesting for Astros bashing, although all the cheating scandals will have probably died down by then. Second game will be fun, there are lots of Cubs fans in Phoenix. Baseball tickets are really getting expensive, this will have to be my only trip this year.

Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy? First of all because SP admitted in the post game conference that he asked the players to foul, but they did not execute. Also because the athletic director is calling out ISU fans!

edit to add - can’t get my screenshot to post, but here is the quote:
“ So 7 seconds left, KU up 3 and Baylor ball. Bill self calls Time out and then decides not to foul and let it play out. Baylor misses shot – KU wins. Interesting – I recall many ISU fans and local media saying always foul!”

How about changing college basketball to a 2nd semester sport with the playoffs starting in May. I believe it can do 3 things to improve the sport.

1- Give the student athlete a semester for studies.

2- Better weather as season moves toward May madness.

3- Possible tailgaiting for games in March and April for schools in the north.

Vick 30 for 30

Just finished watching it. Another gem in the 30 for 30 library. Watching the first part took me back to remembering how crazy good a athlete he was. Always going to be one of sports greatest what if's. Shame that he did something so reprehensible like dog-fighting but it a way it seems like getting caught for it was the best thing to happen to him given the people that he associated with.
