AD’s tweet calling out ISU fans

Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy? First of all because SP admitted in the post game conference that he asked the players to foul, but they did not execute. Also because the athletic director is calling out ISU fans!

I don’t know why fans get worked up about this. Jamie always does this type of thing and likes to point out that the conventional wisdom is seldom cut and dry with this type of thing. The media IS annoying with foul or defend and Hines is one of the worst.

The TCU game was a ******* month and a half ago and I’m not sure why anyone thinks Jamie was trying to defend prohm on a game that long ago. He was just trying to be a contrarian, that’s what he does.

I can’t get my screenshot of it to post, but he basically said that Kansas decided not to foul at the end of the Baylor game, and still won. Then he called out ISU fans and reporters for Criticizing SP’s handling of the end of the TCU regulation game.

no he didn’t. He didn’t say anything about TCU or prohm. You all read that into it. He was just being Jamie.

You are about the only one I've seen with this take whether on Twitter or CF. Most feel it was a veiled shot at ISU fans. Even if it wasn't (I feel it was) he should not have tweeted that. If ISU was something like 18-10, it might be a different story. I feel like he's trying to get at the Prohm detractors.

The media is annoying with it because they've done ZERO actual research on the foul vs defend debate. If they did, they would realize you have essentially the same odds of winning either way.

One, I disagree with him. I still would have fouled even with Baylor missing that shot. Two, feels like he always needs to be the "smartest guy in the room".
