NEWS RELEASE: Five Cyclones invited to the NFL Combine

RADIO RECAP: Several players contribute for No. 10 ISU in 77-65 road win at UCF

SDSU 2/14

Obviously UNI is the big one this weekend, but we’re also likely an underdog at SDSU on Friday night. Pretty tough couple of duals heading our way.

Flo/intermat

125 - Perryman vs #15/14 Jordan - sizeable underdog here. Hope to keep to a decision.

133 - E Frost vs #28/32 Cardinal - should be a win here, Cardinal is funky but hope to push for bonus.

141 - J Frost vs #22/25 Tagg - very interesting match here regardless of ranking. Tagg has beaten Happel and is tough.

149 - Paniro vs NR/NR Allen/Dupill - would be very good to see bonus from Paniro here for dual score purposes.

157 - Chittum vs #17/20 Siebrecht - Siebrecht had some tough losses earlier in the year but is coming into form. This match has firework potential. Siebrecht is a low AA/BR type guy in my mind. Huge weekend for Cody.

165 - Riggins vs #10/12 Rhodes - a couple of guys that should be familiar with each other. Last time that did not work out well for Riggins. Rhodes is a lot better than I am sure even SDSU thought.

174 - MJ vs #10/9 DeVos - huge tests for MJ on the road this weekend. DeVos kind of took it to him in Vegas last year, it’s a very winnable match but he has to stay controlled.

184 - Bockman vs #5/6 Berge - decent underdog here, but I do think Berge is a guy Bockman can keep it close with and try to steal one late.

197 - Schon vs #15/14 Glazier - going to be a very tough weekend for Schon. Glazier and Voelker are both guys that just come right at you.

285 - Herrera vs #26/27 Rasmussen - two similar matches for Herrera this weekend. Neither Rasmussen or Runyon are big, probably 225-235 ish but both are solid on the mat. He can get to both of their legs but what happens from there?

This is likely a dual that we get up with a decent lead after 157 but can we steal one or two of the upper weights?

Very similar match up to UNI dual. Close matches, maybe not a close dual score.

What is your "House Divided"?

I've been thinking about this for awhile, but wondering - what make your house a "House Divided"?

I went to Iowa State and am a huge fan, but my wife was born and raised in Wisconsin (went to Concordia in Milwaukee and St. Paul), so she's a Badger fan at heart - even if I've converted her to Cyclone fandom.

Surely we can't be the only Iowa State/Wisconsin divided house and that can't be the most unique house divided, right?

UNI 2/16

Need to get this thread going. Does ISU have a shot?

125 - is Terukina back? I’m going with UNI with a decision win here, but Perryman has been wrestling well. UNI 3-0
133 - Frost has bonuses Farber 4/5 times. Going to need it again. Major for Frost. 4-4 ISU.
141 - Frost has improved with more consistent mat time, but Happel has always owned him. Think he keeps it to a Dec. 6-4 UNI
149 - Another really tight match, but Paniro takes this one in a 1 td battle. 7-6 ISU
157 - Match of the night. These guys are fireworks. Like the way Chittum has been wrestling and I’m taking him here. 10-6 ISU.
165 - I think Riggins can get this one and we need it. 13-6 ISU
174 - MJ has won before and we need it again. 16-6 ISU
184 - now it gets tough. Tech for Keck. 16-11 ISU.
197 - Schon keeps it to a decision. 16-14 ISU
Hvy - this was a 2-0 match for Runyon early this year. Going with Herrera to get the td and the win this time. 19-14 ISU.

57-74 are huge matches for ISU. ISU is going to need a lot to go right to win this dual, but the path is there. UNI will be fired up at home.
