PREGAME Presser: Lipscomb coach and players ahead of First Round

Lipscomb Head Coach Lennie Acuff hits the stage along with players Joe Anderson, Jacob Ognacevic, Will Pruitt, and Gyasi Powell ahead of Friday’s matchup with Iowa State.

Analysis of bracketologists

I did a little analysis of a few of the high profile bracketologists. Here are the results:

Lunardi got 47.5 of the seedings correct (18 also in the correct regional).
He got 24 of the Top 8 seedings.
Notable misses (by more than 1 seed rank): Louisville, Memphis.
Predicted by not picked for the tournament: West Virginia, Indiana.

Palm got 38.5 of the seedings correct (17.5 also in the correct regional).
He got 16 of the Top 8 seedings.
Notable misses (by more than 1 seed rank): Louisville, Illinois.
Predicted by not picked for the tournament: West Virginia, Indiana.

Bracketometry got 51 of the seedings correct (23.5 also in the correct regional).
He got 25 of the Top 8 seedings.
Notable misses (by more than 1 seed rank): Louisville, Memphis.
Predicted by not picked for the tournament: West Virginia, Indiana.

Lunardi did better than I expected, nearly as good as Bracketometry which is very highly rated. Palm sucks.

Twister Sister Summary- Sisters Come Back for Big Win

Well, this one wasn't what anyone expected, but there hasn't been anything about this season that has gone to script. Some of that has to do with the players in the other jerseys. Tonight was something exciting for the good and the bad. Ladies prevail.

Lea Nelson and Chelsea Poppens react to Iowa State’s First-Four win over Princeton to advance to play Michigan in the Round of 64.
