Constantly failing dehumidifiers??

Okay I'm going a little insane.. I've gotta be doing something wrong. I've went through like 4 dehumidifiers in the last 6 years. Had one or two make two seasons but for the most part they keep failing after one year.

I've bought the ones with the built in pumps and originally used to use that but once I started seeing failures I've switched to the outlet hose option.. Apparently that didn't help me as here I am with a new season and now have another what appears to be failed dehumidifier.

Seems like I'm probably better off buying an in home with how much money I've thrown into these things. I've at least gotten to the point where I always buy the extended warranty....its literally the only product I buy with an extended warranty because these things are such cheap crap.

Someone tell me I'm stupid and just doing something wrong... These things can't really be that ****** can they?

the Masters

of the Universe movie comes out in 2 weeks and I'm so excited.

It looks awesome. Haven't seen a mention Orko, Man-E-Faces (he had many faces), or the purple panther version of battlecat that Skeletor had in the trailers yet. those would be icing on the cake though, looks awesome.

so pumped

Europe (Germany) Guided Travel Recommendations

Am tentatively planning a trip to Europe. Thinking September time frame. Planning on flying to London and spending time there self guided. Then train to Liverpool for a few days. I have been to England before (though it was 25 years ago) and feel confident in making my way around there.

The next part is the portion of the trip I'm looking for help with. After Liverpool the plan is to fly to directly to Germany (Berlin?) and spend about 4-5 days. Then fly home. Not sure what to see there specifically. Maybe the Berlin Wall stuff? Was also thinking we'd like to see some of the Alpine region and throw in some castle(s). I have ancestors who migrated from Baden Baden so perhaps that? Since it will be my first time on the continent I'm not confident (or let's say mentally secure enough) to handle the variables and book travel and select things worth seeing in Germany on my own. Does anyone have suggestion as to travel companies or tour business that offer guided tours in Germany that come close to covering what I'm thinking of for the Germany portion of the trip? I've looked on line and have not been satisfied with what I'm finding.

Two single males. Both above 60. Decent physical condition but too too much walking day after day would probably not be pleasurable. No kids.

TIA for any input.

PS: Not considering the Ireland football option so no reason to suggest something bouncing from there.

The Beat Reporters: Tailgate Tour takeaways, Cyclones snag portal RB, and Jackson Kiss flips

Jake Brend, Rob Gray, and Ben Hutchens react to Jamie Pollard’s comments about the future of college athletics. What else was said at Iowa State’s annual Tailgate Tour? Taking a trip down memory lane with The Wheel and more. Presented by Kelderman Manufacturing.

Fine. I admit it. I DO want the 1990s Cynado logo to come back.

That masterful piece of logo design has been sneakily appearing around Ames lately. Rocco wears a hat with that logo and you can see it elsewhere. With Campbell also occasionally wearing vintage logos, I think the time is ripe. Why wouldn't we want to remember the good old days? Coach Mac? Fizer? That great game against Nebraska in 1997.

Yes, it is time to bring back the Cynado logo.

Ah, but to be clear, it's still awful. But for the kids these days, it's so awful it's good. No different than some retro logos for the other schools. See: UCF's Citronaut, UCONN's depressed/confused husky, etc. You know you want it. Admit it.

I only mean to bring it back in the context of having a retro helmet once in a while. I'm still surprised ISU hasn't done such a simple thing. It's literally a sticker change. Rotate between the Cynado, walking Cy, and throw in some 1970s and 1980s logos too. Maybe one or two games a year.

Williams & Blum: Running back room addition, goodbye Kiss, and Pollard’s comments

Question: Which player has the biggest impact next season?

New guys coming in: Leon Bond III (Northern Iowa), Jaquan Johnson (Bradley), Taj Manning (Kansas State), Ryan Prather Jr. (Robert Morris), and Tre Singleton (Northwestern). They join returning contributors Killyan Toure, Jamarion Batemon, Blake Buchanan, and Dominykas Pleta. Who has the biggest impact on the team next year? Any thoughts? I am going with Toure. I think he will lead the team at point guard and everything will run thru him.
