Kyle Busch Dies at 41

Just super sad on all accounts... He was a hell of a villain.

I can't imagine what his Kids and wife are going through.

I saw a clip at the end of the race last week of him asking for a doctor at the end of the race...

I hope Jr. takes Brexton under his wing, too. Losing a father that young... man that's just awful.

Kyle Busch Dies at 41

Had the same reaction, saw he was in the hospital this morning but I just assumed it was a thing where they were trying to quickly get him over a bad case of the flu or something so he could get back ASAP.

Never was a fan but he was a good villain when he was young, and had gotten more likeable as he aged. It'll be weird not seeing him out there.

Dumbest Thing You Believed

When I was a kid I was taught that alcohol was the devil’s brew. One time when I was on an airplane they served sandwiches as the meal (back in the good old days). They also included grey poupon mustard that proudly advertised it was “made with white wine”.

I pointed out to my mom but she didn’t understand what I was trying to communicate and I watched in horror as she put it on her sandwhich and started eating.
Apparently, Grey Poupon is the true devil's brew! :)

AI film premiers at Cannes

A fully digital 90 minute movie named Hell Grind was shown at Cannes. It took 14 days to generate at a cost of 500k and it's fully digital. From the trailer the movie itself looks terrible, but as a tech demo and proof of concept pretty impressive. The AI characters definitely get into the uncanny valley at times but at other times you could sell me that they are real flesh and blood actors. Pretty crazy what they are going to be able to do with this in a couple of years.

Texas Tech 10 Million Dollar Portal Season

I don't love Sark/Texas but the schedule is pretty damn soft:

This is dumb. Texas Tech likely has to go undefeated to make the CFP with their schedule. Texas can probably lose 2-3 games and still get in. So there is not really an advantage there. Sark is an idiot.

The only advantage comes with teams in the Big Ten and SEC that luck into a joke of a schedule but can still get away with losing games just because of the perception of the conference they're in (Penn State).

As a little kid, “don’t drink and drive” didn’t mean you weren’t allowed to drink anything in the car. Mom drinking a Diet Pepsi wasn’t illegal.
