Milan Momcilovic tweets "entering NBA draft and portal"

Not only the G League, but you will end up seeing some players hang it up sooner given the early earnings. Think about a guy like Hoiberg who made $10 million over 10 years. He lived modestly, invested and was set before ever entertaining the idea of coaching. Now guys will have out earned 10 year NBA guys in less than 2 college seasons. Some will not want to endure the long-term grind and will be set for life at much younger ages.
Interesting enough, around 60% of NBA players are broke 5 years after retirement. Set for life is different for NBA players vs average people.

Paraglider hit by plane and lives

I fly paragliders sometimes and all of my family are pilots. I didn't even know that was a rule to be honest. I am sure it's burried deep in some guide. What are the chances a pilot would need to know to yield to an Unpowered craft. Also, it's weird they are call paragliders unpowered. They are powered with an engine and a prop. The glider held it together and threw her chute pretty quick. Good work by her.

When I got my license year's ago it was definitely a point of emphasis that the more maneuverable craft always yields to the lesser. It's been a while and I never renewed, but I remember you always yield to the right as well. With some basic exceptions I think. That's how I remember it from 15 years ago anyway.
I was going to say as a powered aircraft pilot it is covered. Same for with hot air balloons (LTA). I know of a pilot that got grumpy that a hot air balloon was landing at the Marion Airport and thought he should have the right of way. Well sorry that a balloon showed up and the random time a plane was operating out there.

Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

From the Dellenger write-up:

For instance, the act prevents any league earning more than $1 billion in revenue on its 2025 tax returns from merging or consolidating with another conference.
There are only two leagues that earn such revenue: the Big Ten and SEC, college sports’ behemoths who many believe are destined to eventually break away to create their own “super league.”
It has always been headed that way though.

Either B1G/SEC were going to be within boundaries of NCAA governanace or they were going on their own to try and poach a few other NCAA teams and write their own rules to benefit their relationships with media outlets. I think 100% of all previous evidence points to an inevitable withdrawal from the NCAA in their future, so putting these restrictions in the draft bill probably shouldn't give anyone any hope it somehow makes them come to their senses. JP understands this.

Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Just curious: say this does pass. Would the big 10 and SEC be allowed to split off from the ncaa and do their own thing?
