Just got the email from YouTube that they're beginning the crediting process. Good on them, **** ESPN.

In general, I agree. What I'd prefer is some transparency in how much of that $83 goes towards Disney, and then give a daily credit. But they won't be that open.A $20 credit on an $83 base price for losing ESPN seems a bit low to me. It’d be nice if they at least covered the ESPN Ultimate cost.
If they’re really paying Disney $20 / subscriber for ESPN, it makes you wonder how much they’re paying to have all those other worthless channels. And it makes me hope more that they will be able to negotiate a slim sports package out of all of this. Cause ESPN and Fox are 90% of the value of YTTV to me. But as I’ve discovered this last week, the YTTV guide and convenience of having it under one app is the other 10%. The ESPN app is a disaster.
I'm not sure I would cancel anyways but I have Sunday Ticket so they have me by the short hairs (if you cancel your base plan you lose the Sunday Ticket). I'll take any amount of credits they give me.
The last time I heard the numbers, ESPN was $15/month and the next most expensive channel was less than $3.A $20 credit on an $83 base price for losing ESPN seems a bit low to me. It’d be nice if they at least covered the ESPN Ultimate cost.

$20 credit is a nice gesture but likely wont do anything for me. I'll be dropping YoutubeTV by my next billing cycle if its not resolved.
I'll probably be doing Sling for that reason. I have an antenna so not worried about local channelsYea, I’m not staying with YTTV for the next billing cycle if they don’t have ESPN. Guessing a bunch of folks think the same.
Probably gonna go to Fubu. Only downside is no TNT/TBS
This is the same problem we have. Kind of like Direct Tv, for the Chicago stations and the amount of streams you can have.I'm not sure I would cancel anyways but I have Sunday Ticket so they have me by the short hairs (if you cancel your base plan you lose the Sunday Ticket). I was able to get a credit for $10 off per month for the next 6 months, in addition to the email that just came out for the $20 one time credit. The last time this happened they gave a 15 dollar credit and it was only out for a weekend. Twenty bucks ain’t ****.
Same hee.I was able to get a credit for $10 off per month for the next 6 months, in addition to the email that just came out for the $20 one time credit.
By $15 a month I assume you mean all Disney Channels??? I would think all of Fox's channels would be more than $3. That's the dispute in a nutshell. These big media companies have an all or nothing sales offer. For example they can't offer you jusr Fox, FS1, and BTN for people who only want sports. You also have to purchase all the other Fox News Channels etc. thus driving up the price for YTTV.The last time I heard the numbers, ESPN was $15/month and the next most expensive channel was less than $3.
