WWE Wrestlemania

Sting never bent his knees much for the Scorpion Death Lock - go check the "Sharpshooter" page on Wikipedia. It's one of the primary differences between Bret Hart's version and Sting's - Hart went much deeper. In fact, in the second Death Lock, Sting was practically sitting on HHH much deeper than he normally goes.

My biggest problem with the match was Vince using the opportunity to **** on the WCW grave one last time. It wasn't the fact that HHH won, it was the DX/nWo circuis side show that went along with it. I know people were wondering what the hell the handshake at the end of the match was, that was nothing more than him breaking kayfabe. He has a big track record of doing so, and that looked like a very public "Welcome to the WWE" imo.

and 12 hours later, I'm a lot better with the Seth Rollins outcome. Now if Nikki Bella would just drop the Divas title to Paige tonight, that would be great.

Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. It's been nearly 15 years.....WCW is long gone and Vince is still going. He has a huge ego, but I honestly don't think he cares. I doubt Sting agrees to that if he had an issue with it.

I like Rollins. Not because he's from Iowa, but because he's overall pretty good with the mic and is a good wrestler.

If the Authority did all the talking for him, I'm sure I'd hate him. But he does pretty well as a heel who always needs protection.

Also, this opens up a possible final 4 way match for the belt that would be beyond fun to watch.

I can't remember the last time the WWE did NOT paint themselves in a corner. There are so many options tonight. I can't remember a RAW that I've been more excited for besides attending live. This is going to be nuts tonight. Will have huge star power as it's in San Jose and everyone is in town.

I wonder where they are going to go with Bray. Dude has never held a belt.

Well just as you say they did not paint themselves in to a corner they kind of painted themselves in to a corner with Bray. Cena and Bryan hold the crap belts now and Bray has already feuded with them. I'm thinking they could go with a Bray vs. a reunited Harper and Rowan. Maybe put Ambrose with Bray and just let Bray do his thing but have Ambrose as kind of a comic relief. Like Ambrose doesn't buy in to any of Bray's stuff but he's got nothing better to do than beat people up. Would sort of be a Hell No! dysfunctional tag team type set up. They could go after the tag belts as well that way.

All very true.

The podcast I linked earlier talked about options with Bray and how he might wanna team back up with the Wyatt Family. Also talked about how a year ago it would have been hard to predict Ambrose as the least prominent Shield member (at least right now).

The Sting match left a really bad taste in my mouth. This shows just how far Vince will go to take care of his own. The authority/HHH story is played out, Vince needs to realize that he HAD a good thing and move on. Does anyone like the McMahons as a story? I quit watching because of Shane. Everyone wanted and expected Sting to win and WM would have been way better if he would have.

On another note, Rusev had amazing entrance. Too bad I've despised the USSR since Rocky IV. Rock was great and Lesner match was sick.
