NBCU’s Peacock Pins WWE Network Exclusive U.S. Streaming Rights

"WWE Network will be available on Peacock Premium (which includes ads) for $4.99 per month, half the price of WWE Network’s current $9.99/month pricing. The no-commercials Peacock Premium Plus plan, which costs $9.99/month, also will include WWE Network."

So I can get WWE network plus all Peacocks normal stuff for the same price (ad free version) as just WWE network? That seems like a no brainer, but maybe I'm missing something.

Wonder how this affects current Network subscribers. Are our current agreements now out? Do we now have to get a Peacock subscription now?

If I read it correctly, WWE network goes away, so we will need to switch over in March.

Actually, it sounds like existing subscribers will get migrated over to the $4.99 tier in March when the switch happens.

This is a HUGE win for subscribers. You're paying the exact same thing (if you go ad free) and adding the entire Peacock inventory. Worth it for Yellowstone and The Office alone...

Right now I have this weird deal where I had to resign back in the day via a paypal third party arrangement of of just doing it with wwe.com. I'll be glad to have this stupid thing done.

Who does everybody have winning the rumble matches? Haven't been watching much WWE the last few months and only keep up with some YouTube clips here and there and a podcast every couple weeks. My essentially uneducated predictions are Bianca Belair and Brock Lesnar although I think the smart choice for the men's would be Daniel Bryan.

Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman

Big E or Daniel Bryan and Bianca Belair.

As much as I'm not into WWE and really wrestling overall the last year (COVID and bad WWE has really killed my interest in it, and even AEW isn't doing it for me), Royal Rumble is one of those events that always has my attention.

Natalya defeats Tamina to earn No. 30 spot in Women’s Royal Rumble on WWE Backstage; Orton and Edge to kick off Men’s Royal Rumble Match.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax reclaimed the Women's tag titles on the preshow. I would guess Lacey Evans is about to be murdered by Charlotte Flair.

Starting the Rumble with Drew McIntyre (c) vs Goldberg for the WWE title.

Seriously - why is Oldberg on my screen?

Two things: 1. If this match goes longer than 5 minutes, I'll be shocked. 2. If Goldberg wins, WT-absolute-F.

4 minutes 17 seconds total. The first sequence before the official bell was 1 minute 45 seconds.
