WWE Royal Rumble (2021) Thread

I mean, I love Edge and his comeback story, but I'm not sure I feel him winning the Rumble. The thing that was so great about the women's Rumble is they went with fresh blood. This is the exact opposite.

Agree. Having a part timer win the Rumble is something I'm not sure about. When at the end it was Edge vs Orton I thought Orton would get it to tie Austin with 3 rumble wins.

It was a good match, but wish they wouldn't keep going to the well of giving retired guys these title shots.

Overall, I really enjoyed the entire show.

I will say the difference in part timers being Edge compared with, say, Undertaker or Goldberg, is Edge still has a lot of gas left in the tank. Being nearly a decade out of the business probably helps with that. But that being said, this is the ongoing problem with WWE. They keep going back to the old stars instead of building up new ones.

Edge win because they need the suprise factor still. Everyone figured Braun would win. Throw edge the win and be a little controversy, keep it unpredictable. I like it.

I thought Cena would show up though
