When I buy a house I think i might actually get a roomba. Does anyone here have one? Do they really work?

We have one. My wife loves it. Set the scheduler and let it run while you're at work. Works good on hard surfaces and low-pile carpet. Surface dirt on higher pile carpet but battery dies quickly on the higher stuff.

My friend has pets with longer fur and his crapped out on him. I would think for alot of pet fur and stuff like that you may want to avoid it. But for general use I hear its great.

We have a dog and haven't had any problems yet. Of course it's a German Shorthair:) Anyway, don't they make one specifically for pets?

Not sure. I would think so. He probably bought some cheaper model.

Wow, $250 for a Sony BluRay player? Seems like quite a deal

a vacuum...that will take a long time to sell out.

Then again, here is the description:

"Root Cyclone Technology – Uses cyclonic separation to remove dirt from the air with out using a filter. "

Cyclone technology? must be powerful.
