Why was Levelle Moton never mentioned?

I would like him a lot more if ISU hadn't put dropped 93 points on his team. What he has done there is very impressive, though.
I wouldn't count that against him. Look at our roster in that game (remember, we had Niang) compared to theirs. Then look at the number of points we put on ol' Roy Boy's team with his 5 Star line-up vs our line-up without Niang. I'm not saying that Moton is my #1 (or even #3) choice, but if he ended up being our next head coach, I think he could do an incredible job with our current roster and likely parlay that into sustained success (IMHO).

Ticks all of the box for a lot of people's surefire way to success at ISU which has never backfired before:

Mid-major head coach? CHECK

D'ok.

My only concern is that his style is the antithesis of Fred's.

Super super slow pace. I'd love him as an assistant HC but I don't want to run his system.

Honestly, I think he'd make a great assistant but head coach at a major conference? Eh, not yet. I do find it funny that some people will love this guy, and rightfully so for his character, but **** all over Prohm not knowing much about his character even though Prohm has a higher win pct by over .100.

Sure he's a great guy and doing big things at NCCU.

If we settle for a head coach from NCCU with this upcoming roster I hope JP sends his letter of resignation along with. Sorry, just my two cents.

Basketball program has been making some cash for the university the last four years. You need to reinvest some of this cash for future results.

When you have one of the best offenses in the country, you should be doing that against inferior athletes.

I think Moton is a great guy, a likable guy. But don't think he would be the right fit at ISU. I hope another candidate emerges....

I'm amazed that with all the amazing sources around that he was not mentioned days ago as being on the list.

Moton is an excellent coach, he deserves to be in the conversation. He might just be the right guy for isu, especially if we keep TJ as our assistant and recruiter- I like that combo
Still prefer Proehm though
