What do D-league coaches get paid?

Click the link to the 15:35 mark and watch the video. Sounds like Hoiberg in a way. Plus they run some of the same sets as evidenced by the highlights shown.
I'd be good with him.
"I didn't even comb my hair today, because I knew it would be a dogfight."
Iowa State's Michael Nurse
Every NBA (and now most college teams) run the same sets, Fred wasn't innovating the way the game was coached. He was just great at applying it towards players strengths. Fred's genius is in simplifying things. Regardless of our coach is, we'll be running a high ball screen 90% of the time, the rest of the time we will be isolating Georges or Nader to take advantage of mismatches to attack the basket and/or create space for shooters after the defense collapses.
At this point it has to be Altman or Otz. I really don't see the appeal of these mid-major candidates and how they position our team better for the next year. No offense but I would rather take my chances with Otz if Altman is not available.
How would Otz recruit players? Pretty easy. He would start by saying that Iowa State would continue to play Hoiball. And that Otz is personal friends and part of the Hoiberg coaching tree. Which means he has direct contact with the Coach of the Chicago Bulls. And from that contact with the rest of the NBA.
Again, Altman makes Steve Alford look sagely in his handling of sexual assault. That is not happening
Way to big league himDisagree with that assessment. In the Alford case Pierre Pierce pled guilty to assault causing injury in a sexual assault and was allowed to remain on scholarship and on the team. In the Oregon players case it was a player who transferred who had been suspended from his previous team, because of allegations....no charges filed.
You need to understand the difference between charges being actually filed......and a conviction. And in the case of Brandon Austin there were not even charges filed.
Brandon Austin is obviously a player to steer away from. No athletic department needs to take that kind of chance. Not defending his conduct at all. IMO, athletes should conduct themselves properly. At the same time he does not have a criminal record.
It appears Brandon Austin has transferred from Oregon and is on scholarship at a new school.
