It's really quite simple. We are not going west unless we get rid of WVU which isn't happening.
1. Cincinnati
2. UCONN
3. Memphis
4. ACC school
Where is this Mormon hate? If people aren't wanting BYU because they are Mormon, they should really reevaluate their priorities in a institution. BYU has solid home field advantage in both FB and BB and has a very passionate fanbase, who just so happens to be made up of Mormons
It isn't about hating Mormons, it is about not wanting to add another school with a huge ego, especially since this one wants to dictate scheduling. If they won't play on Sunday that's their problem, not everybody else's.
Pretty pathetic seeing any ISU fan turning their nose up at other schools joining the Big 12 when just a few years ago we were being treated the same way and could very well be in that position again.
Agree the ACC won't happen but UCONN should. I was against UCONN for those reasons originally, but I was convinced.2. Not happening; travel distance & football support sucks
4. Not happening; GOR.
Hate is a strong word, but the idea of not adding BYU because they don't want to play on Sunday for religious reasons is discriminatory. BYU has competed in collegiate sports for a long, long time and their conference teams have been willing to make the accomodation to not compete on Sundays.
Not sure how an entity sticking to their moral/religious viewpoint constitues having a huge ego! IMO refusing to accept BYU because of it religious requrements shows someone with a huge ego and very close minded. Part of the issue we are having in the US today- differences in race, religion or opinions are not respected.
Those were good days. History and some rivalry. SEC does not have a Grant of Rights. So Mizzou could be a possibility. It would require humility on both the Conference and Mizzou to come back into the fold. They could be taken in as a full member as soon as it could be allowed. Not sure what the GOR is for Colorado. But they are likely getting far less money from the Pac 12. They left in a panic. I am sure they have regrets. Bury the hatchet and take these two back. Power 5 Conference Schools back in the Big 12 Conference.
It would be interesting to see if the Pac 12 would take to replace Colorado. Would the Pac 12 take BYU? I would like to see the Pac 12 decision on that.
How interesting would it be if it were Texas or Oklahoma that the P12 took to replace Colorado?

Where is everyone getting this Arkansas idea? Is that a real possibility or just people wishing?
Just wishing on my part, but I think there is a chance. It doesnt seem like a for sure no to me. While it makes sense in my own head, I am not in the mood to try and explain/justify that on this board only to get my *** ripped.Where is everyone getting this Arkansas idea? It would be a two-for though in my opinion with Mizzou (assuming they are the other that wants back in). I think we could sell the rest of the SEC on splitting their pie two fewer ways.SEC doesn't have a GOR so they're technically available and they make geographic sense.
