Somebody saved a ton of money not having to buy Jell-O shots today.
Let’s get it out there- all of you fans who spit out pathetic platitudes like, ‘beating Iowa doesn’t matter’, or ‘This is just another game’…please stay off the boards this week.
Yes, it’s trying to mirror the feigned indifference of Iowa fans. We need to win this freaking game. Will we? Who knows, but we gotta get one.

The Iowa State vs. Iowa game on Saturday will be a grind. Iowa's defense and special teams will be on par with their usual strength. ISU needs to come out and try to establish the run, today s

Prediction, ISU wins 17-13...... dont get over confident after the win today, too many house of horrors in this game from years past as a Cyclone fan

Second-half safeties lead Iowa past South Dakota State 7-3 in offensively inept game
Iowa's defense came up with two second-half safeties, and the Hawkeyes opened the season with a 7-3 win over South Dakota State on Saturday.

I'm planning on telling every Iowa fan this week that I can't believe they only scored one TD vs a FCS school. Just so they have to through the trouble/embarrassment of explaining to me that, in fact, they didn't score any touchdowns against a FCS school
Need to move the ball and be able to keep the field position flipped. Make their offense have to travel a long ways to score.
If Vegas wants to give me free money, I will gladly take it and will pound that ISU ML.
If we can play clean football and not make a lot of dumb errors, I think we can win pretty easily. But unfortunately the last few times we've played them it was hard for us to even walk as many times as we shot ourselves in the foot....
Biggest stat I remember to damn clearly from last year. In the 3rd quarter EIU had -8 yards of offense but scored 14 points.... or was it 21. Sad sad day

I think a field goal and two safeties is referred to as a Hawkeye touchdown from now on.
