There's a roundabout near me that nearly every week I see someone exit it, then make a u turn. You were just in a roundabout, why didn't you just keep circling around??Or a traffic circle/round-a-bout.
There are times when someone has a short time to catch a connecting flight when I get it but otherwise yeah, just sit and wait your turn. Thanks for bringing up the standing up on a plane thing. So irritating. Where do these people think they’re going? Have they never flown before?
I’ll sometimes stand to stretch my legs and back after a long flight. There are times when someone has a short time to catch a connecting flight when I get it but otherwise yeah, just sit and wait your turn.
I wouldn’t blame anyone for that after a long flight.I’ll sometimes stand to stretch my legs and back after a long flight.
Totally agree on being ready to play when it's your turn to play. That bugs me BIG time! Someone that literally has like 5 mins of waiting time while the others putt... but then wait until it's their turn to putt and take another several mins analyzing their putt when it's their turn... looking at it from every angle, etc.Awareness is key. I'm probably the opposite of you - which is fine, not a right or wrong thing. I prefer teeing off at 6am and playing 18 holes in 2.5 hours but I don't have that expectation playing a public course on a Saturday afternoon. I think the biggest problem is new players all watching each other hit before starting their routine, seasoned players are already starting their routine while someone is hitting - then they hit right away. Doesn't seem like much but shaving those 30 seconds over 18 holes makes a massive difference.
When the course is busy, just play with pace! DOn't play with 5 or 6 guys. Be ready to go when the group ahead leaves the green. Don't go looking in the creek for balls. We're all out there dealing with the same thing, don't make it worse.Slow golf, and that slow players never think they are slow.
I stand up almost ASAP cuz my legs hurt. Leg spacing is good for 5’10” people and I’m 6’4”.Thanks for bringing up the standing up on a plane thing. So irritating. Where do these people think they’re going? Have they never flown before?
Have one of these specifically for those.Blister or clamshell packaging. You buy some product that is encased in a clear thick plastic package that is impossible to get open without a really sharp knife. Normal scissors can’t cut it.
