My wife and I met at UNI. So you can say we are Panther/Cyclone

My wife is very, very introverted and I'm quite extroverted. She's routinely embarrassed by some of the things I'll say, and sometimes I'm having to explain to people that she really does like them she just isn't much of a talker. I suppose we balance each other out in that way.

Neither am I and I always get **** for it and have to defend myself. Some people talk, some people listen.

My wife went to Iowa.

She is a better person than I so genuinely cheers for Iowa State when we’re not playing them. She is from Minnesota so doesn’t understand the hate like I do having grown up in Eastern Iowa.

I think I caught her cheering for us against Iowa in basketball this year after we got back from Maui. She said she feels “more invested” in our team.

She also lets my kids be full blown Cyclone fans which will probably backfire on me when they are old enough to be rebellious. But will enjoy it while I can.

Snooze/no Snooze. I typically like to be up by 6-630, regardless of the day. My wife will hit the snooze button several times in the morning. It took a year or so before I trained myself to just get up and went on with my morning rather than waking her up at the same time I wake up

Same. Dinner was the noon meal, lunch was a sandwich and snack around 4pm, and supper was generally after 9pm once we ran out of light.

Same. I try to explain that "supper" and "dinner" are two different things. Dinner is the big meal of the day. Supper is the evening meal. You can have "dinner" at lunch. For example, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner are often the noon meal. Supper is the evening meal. Most of the time you have dinner at supper, but sometimes you have dinner at lunch.
