I post a simple thread asking MBB recruits and parents of recruits to contact me via PM if they would like to visit about the opportunities that Iowa State offers and SHAZAM it gets totally removed from the board in less than a half hour.

There was nothing negative in my post whatsoever. Why was it removed? Who removed it? What in the world are you afraid of?

For reference of everyone at CF, contacting prospects is a dangerous business for non-coaches. People that contact prospects for their job, as members of the "media," may do so permissibily. Others may not. And in no case may anyone, other than an ISU coach, encourage a prospect to attend Iowa State or recuit on our behalf.

1. Please explain what a member if the "media" is. You put the word in quotes, so it seems this is a gray area. Apparently anyone with a blog? We have people on this board who run blogs and brag about talking with recruits.

2. As far as no one other than a coach "encouraging" a prospect to attend a particular school, please explain how thousands of fans can chant to Harrison Barnes things like "Harrison Barnes, Duke is home!" at Cameron Indoor, and similiar chants to him at UNC ("Harrison Barnes, we want YOU!") and even Hilton???
