As others have stated, Cy needs to be trimmed in black. The red/dark red thing never worked. I 'get' why we thought we needed to do it, but it was and still is dumb. And I wish the helmets tomorrow had the logo bigger. Like, massive. Here are a few random helmet photos I could find that I had pulled from here in the past (thank you to those of you that 'own' these! All credit to you!)

So there's obviously a coordinated campaign here as everyone broke this news at the same time this morning. Does this mean this logo is "back" (such as it ever left) and is now part of the rotation?

Appreciate the link but not what I was envisioning. Something more simple and me the pure white IOWA STATE Nike hoodie from last year.

I strongly object to calling a logo that came out when my kids were in college a "throwback"

Also, I am very meh on this logo. It's not bad, but we have many others I like better than Fisting Cy in a blender.

At least no tertiary blue in it, thank gods.

The worst thing about being in my 30's is when I realize oh **** I'm actually 45.

I've never liked the oversize logos. To me it looks cheap and cheesy regardless of the actual quality of the logo design. Like a car with a huge spoiler or tires that stick outside the fenders. Just makes the proportions of everything look out-of-whack and very "try hard."

I've never liked the oversize logos. To me it looks cheap and cheesy regardless of the actual quality of the logo design. Like a car with a huge spoiler or tires that stick outside the fenders. Just makes the proportions of everything look out-of-whack and very "try hard."

Agree. Except for this specific logo on our helmets.

I don't really care but I prefer the I-STATE logo so let me know if you see any sales.

It will always be the bird in the blender logo to me. I still prefer the “orrnado” more but I’ll take anything over the beveled I State.

I like this version of the logo most.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, no matter how wrong they are...but if you're critical of this logo that is overwhelming liked by fans...you had at least better not be a fan of any of these (that all need to be PERMANENTLY deleted):

The bugle and the modern walking Cy aren’t very good but don’t get the hate for the Cy profile picture one. I think it works well as an alternate.
