A nitpicky nitpick (reference to sample helmet pics), is the chin strap going to cover part of the logo as in those samples?

Also, this might have been a chance to use it on a gold helmet, although I'd probably have to see an example, maybe it wouldn't be that good.

At least it isn't an exact throwback to the McCarney helmets by removing the "ISU" lettering and it's obviously much better on a white helmet and not cardinal.

The logo for tomorrow should have always been the logo back in the day. Adding the letters made it sooooo busy. There’s a version with Iowa State Cyclones written out that is the worst

The version with it fully written out was the primary logo at the time

Right, my post wasn't clear. The one with "Iowa State Cyclones" was the primary logo at the time.

Also, I am very meh on this logo. It's not bad, but we have many others I like better than Fisting Cy in a blender.

At least no tertiary blue in it, thank gods.

This. The logo should be the tornado with Iowa State on top. Exactly like the one Cascade Clone has on his profile. It is by far the best. This is not opinion, it is fact. And no I don't care if it reminds people of Jim Criner.

It's not the navy blue Seneca teams one but it reminds me too much of KU's Jayhawk helmet.
