It's insane. VA has a good fanbase turnout in Provo too.Man this BYU Virginia game is just a good old fashioned shoot out
Notre Dame winning out will put Cincinnati in the playoff. The pollsters may be forced to put Notre Dame in the top 10 this week. Independents don't help the Big 10 or SEC.
I’m not convinced they’ll rank Cincy even in the top 10. The highest UCF ever got was #7.
Cincy will get in if they win out and Notre Dame wins out. Notre Dame's schedule the rest of the way is pretty light. @ Virginia may be one to watch. If they don't under that scenario the College Football Playoff committee should be arrested.
Prepare to be upset. Not saying it’s right, but I fully expect Cincy to get ****** Tuesday
Maybe. Ohio St. struggled against an overrated Penn St. But, you have a point. It's Ohio St. ESPN will try to get them in at all costs. I mean, they're ranked higher than Oregon, who owned them in Columbus.
New AP poll is out.
#2 Cincy
#11 OSU
#14 Baylor
#17 BYU
#20 Houston
Number of teams ranked by conference
New SEC - 7
Big 10 - 5
New Big 12 - 5
ACC - 1
PAC 12 - 1
The new Big 12 will be just fine
I did not know that Michigan was up 30-14 yesterday late in the 3rd.
That's gotta get Wolverine nation tilting today.
I still think the new Big 12 is going to be a far inferior conference and the lack of exposure will continue to hurt it.

Just keep winning. Someone is gonna emerge out of this league.
You really don’t have any other option anyways
Not to be nitpicky, but far inferior to what? The current Big 12 minus Texas and Oklahoma? The current AAC? The MWC? Seriously, what other reasonable scenario on the table (so not B1G or PAC expansion) would be better than the New Big 12?
All of our losses so far this year have been to the “new Big 12” conference members. Not sure we’d even be in the top tier of the new Big 12 either.

Sure, it sucks to lose two big national brands, but all the complaining about how “inferior” the expanded Big 12 will be misses the point. What else could have possibly happened? OU and Texas are out … would it be better to struggle along with the 8 leftovers (no) or all jump to the AAC like ESPN wanted (no) or, what, go independent (lol no)?
I think adding Cincy/BYU/Houston/UCF is about the best possible outcome, given the choices presented. That’s not a bad athletic conference.
