***Week 9 CFB Game Thread (10/30)***

Anyone have a website that gives hypothetical spreads? As I watch the grind of power 5 conferences It just gets tougher to consider Cincinnati for a playoff. It Got me thinking if an undefeated Oklahoma state was a 7 point dog in Ames what would a Cincinnati spread be in Ames and other upper mid type power 5 spots.

Fighting Holgos!!!

Kickoff return for a TD to take the lead against #19 SMU

Houston wins! They’re now 7-1 and will be ranked next week.

New Big 12 Check in
#2 Cincy 8-0
#25 BYU 6-2 (leads UVA 21-0 and 4-0 in PAC 12)
Houston 7-1 and soon to be ranked
UCF 5-3 with a very easy schedule left

We could’ve done a lot worse.

SMU guts their way down field for a game tying FG with 30 seconds left then gives up a 100 yard kickoff return.

Not ideal.

Houston winning helps Cincy if SMU can win the next 2 weeks and if UH can win out until the American Championship game. That would give Cincy wins over ranked ND, SMU, and Houston.

So we’re all in agreement that ND will be ahead of Cincy and Ohio State ahead of Oregon on Tuesday right?

My best guess
1.) Georgia
2.) Alabama
3.) Michigan State
4.) Oklahoma
5.) Ohio State
6.) Michigan
7.) Oregon
8.) Norte Dame
9.) Cincy
10.) Wake Forest

Notre Dame winning out will put Cincinnati in the playoff. The pollsters may be forced to put Notre Dame in the top 10 this week. Independents don't help the Big 10 or SEC.
