Hell Yeah, Iowa could still get Morrow but I'll take this good news for now.
Morrow will have to change some to fit in with any of the better teams. None of them are looking for her to come in and shoot the ball 800 times like she did this past season. None of them need that. She launched over 200 threes and only made 25% of them. That can't happen on a better team. Top schools could use her rebounding and scoring but less "shooting", maybe more like 400-500 level for shots.
I'd say that wherever Morrow ends up, unless it's a Big 12 team, is more like no news for the Cyclones.
Their fans are all over Aneesha Morrow too. I can't see CC doing well with someone who wants the spotlight; Czinano, Warnock, Martin, and Marshall are OK with not needing the spotlight.
But to @BoxsterCy 's point, we wouldn't want her to be a black hole of offense. That sometimes happened with Ashley, and it was a common complaint here when it did. But we do have that big vacant spot offensively that many teams do not (we lost 74% of our scoring), and at least in that aspect she could be a great fit for both sides. Hopefully if she came she'd improve her 3pt shooting and FT shooting -- when you get to the line nearly as much as Ashley, you really ought to shoot better than 65% from the line.As a Joens replacement, I'd take her in a heartbeat.
What some Howks can't get their head around is not everyone likes CC.If they were to get a transfer they would have to be able to check their ego - Czinano was an All-American and was barely mentioned during their run - it was and will be all CC all the time.
but that 5% chance we have is still worth thinking about.
She just released this video. Perhaps 5% is way too high.

There is no “return on investment” in women’s basketball or wrestling.Despite all the negative comments I can easily believe this might be true. Excellent return on investment, would easily pay for itself. Anything can happen in the tourney, but would likely position them well for natty. Iowa has a lot of $, especially compared to us. Per the wrestling gurus on this board they are paying $100k+ for wrestlers.

(From yesterday):
Iowa fans have been quite confident on social media that all the top transfers are lining up to play with CC. Many were confident they would get Betts, Morrow, or even VanLith.Damn, some people are really full of themselves.
They needed to look for someone like the post we got but she probably wasn’t high profile enough for them.Iowa fans have been quite confident on social media that all the top transfers are lining up to play with CC. Many were confident they would get Betts, Morrow, or even VanLith.
As I've said, they must take someone who doesn't want the spotlight because CC is not giving that up anytime soon. They took Molly Davis last year from Central Michigan. She led CMU in scoring before leaving and is a role player at Iowa.

Led the team in scoring (18.6 ppg), steals (1.3 spg), assists (4.7 apg) and free throws made (94), and ranked second in 3-pointers made (52) as a junior in 2022
That too, but I was actually thinking the player was very full of herself when I posted that.Iowa fans have been quite confident on social media that all the top transfers are lining up to play with CC. Many were confident they would get Betts, Morrow, or even VanLith.

Would be a good replacement for Warnock at Iowa.
Would seem so. Brings rebounding and defense, both needs for them if they want another deep NCAA run or Big Ten title (that league will be tough at the top again next year). Thing is the portal doesn't seem to be Bluder's jam. She's in the middle of a good run and transfers have had little role in it.
