WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Was scrolling through the channels came across Winston Salem vs Virginia State I know it is a early game but there isn't another 100 people in the place other than the teams might not be 100 counting them. The game was fairly close till the 3rd Winston Salem pulled away. Up by 15 with most of the 4th left.

Cowgirls blew a 12-point lead in the fourth, then ended up fighting off the UT rally late.

West Virginia wins @ K-State 77-70.

I watched the 2nd half riding an exercise bike at the gym. Pretty good game. Michigan had a run in the 4th and ended up scoring 28 points in the quarter but Iowa also scored 28 points. Game.

Iowan Hannah Stuelke is looking a bit more like her recruit rating. Saw her a couple of times earlier and wasn't very impressed but she's been playing decent since Big Ten play started.

Edit: Forgot to mention, during broadcast they announced the crowd at 10,700 which is 2.5X the Wolverines usual attendance. Build it (ranked teams) and they will come. Maybe a bit of a rivalry going as long as these two have ranked teams, 15K at IC last year when they played.

What was the T on TCI?
Offsetting Ts on Scott and Tomi Taiwo in the 3rd. A tie up that resulted in them yelling at each other.

A T on Tech's Katie Ferrell in the 4th for slapping the floor after getting a foul called on her, so it was her 4th and 5th.

A intentional foul on TCU's Patricia Morris, which is a T.

The T on Scott in the video.

Then a T on TCU's Tara Manumaleuga during the review of Scott's foul. The announcer incorrectly said she was gone because it was her second T, but it was her 5th.

The last technical that I can recall on anyone associated with the Iowa State women's team was a technical on Coach Fennelly during a game with Baylor when Ashley Joens was a Sophomore (as I recall). Fairly early in that game Joens was call for a charge when it should have been a block. Fennelly objected somewhat vociferously and was called for a technical.

I do not recall the last time a player had a technical. Heck I cannot recall the last time a player even reacted to a foul called against them.

Scott's foul wasn't that bad, technical for sure in light of what you describe had gone on previously, but her angry crowd flip is probably going to earn her a Big 12 suspension.

Watching the Badger women's game. They're playing Minnesota. I hear the name Czinano and had to do a double take. They showed her and I thought oh they're not related. Looked her up and sure enough it's Monika's sister, they look nothing alike.

Ines got a super-cheap taunting T a few years ago against West Virginia.

BF is still good for about 1 per season.
